How to Transition Dresses from Summer to Fall
When it comes to dresses I want to be able to wear them all summer and well in the fall, and maybe even winter!
The key to getting the most bang for your buck when it comes to dresses is layering and adding seasonally appropriate accessories. Simple enough, right?
I kept this second look super classic by adding a simple, linen neutral blazer. This look is perfect for work, business meetings. I switched out sandals for forest green ankle booties for the perfect fall look.
My third and final flawless fall look really dresses down this otherwise dressy dress but still keeps it chic and classic. I layered the dress with the burnt orange cardigan (which is almost the exact colour in the dress). A pop of colour is always a good idea and this colour screams fall. You could also button up the cardigan and make it appear as thought you’re wearing a sweater/skirt combo. Again, I paired the dress with the same forest green booties, because why not, they’re fabulous. And what’s a fall look without a felt hat!
There are so many other ways you could add to this with jewelry, but I’m really living for simplistic looks right now.
