Bold Pink, Three Ways
If you’re anything like me, when it comes to clothes you like to stick to basics and neutrals. The thought of colour, especially bright colours, gives me anxiety. I don’t usually like to stand out, and all the neutrals that follows my closet allow me to be fashionable all while sinking into the background.
In the spirit of being bold I found a hot pink, cotton sweater to style, which is completely outside my comfort zone. I’ve styled it three ways to show how easy it actually is to take something basic and with colour and incorporate it into your everyday life.
Keep it Casual.
I found these really cute white joggers to pair with this pink sweater. Choosing white/cream on the bottom and neutral accessories allows the pop of colour to be the focal point without being too overwhelming. For me, this is the perfect weekend hang out outfit or pair it with the cutest fanny pack for running errands hands free (and all the mothers say, amen!).

Ready for Brunch.
This may be a new favourite way to wear my leopard print skirt this spring. Leopard is a neutral, pairing it with a solid bold colour won’t make your outfit appear too “in your face”. Instead by pairing this pattern and colour you’re really showing off your fun personality!
I’m continuing the trend of keeping it casual with white sneakers and my Apolis market bag. This is the perfect outfit for meeting friends for breakfast or brunch on the weekend or wear this for a casual date night!

Casual Friday.
Can you wear this bold sweater to work? I think so! Just dress it up a bit! I paired this sweater with a blush blazer, jeans and loafers for the perfect casual Friday office look. Don’t be afraid to play around with your clothes and mix and match pieces that you would wouldn’t normally put together - like a blazer and a cotton sweater. You could also dress this outfit up more by wearing wedges or a block heel shoe.
