Hey, you.

I’m Andrea and I’m so happy you’re here! I hope you feel like you’ve found a page where you can talk to a friend about style tips, family life and mental health.

I got you, girl!

An Anniversary Fiesta Grazing Table

An Anniversary Fiesta Grazing Table

I decided awhile ago that I wanted to be that family who celebrated birthdays, holidays and anniversaries. Not just celebrated, but like really (annoyingly) celebrated. Life is too short not to have as much fun and celebrate as much as possible!

This past weekend my husband and I celebrated our sixth wedding anniversary. Although he doesn’t participate in the brainstorming and preparing of all my celebration ideas, he completely supports, appreciates (and participates) everything I do (that’s a good man!).
We decided instead of going out for dinner to celebrate (because we’re hoping to get away soon), we would stay in and celebrate - fiesta grazing table style.
Our fiesta grazing table was not lacking in options. I made beef and chicken, hard and soft shells, tokitos, corn on the cob and every topping I could think of. There were only three of us, but if I did this again with more people I would add the option of shrimp tacos, but I’m the only shrimp eater in our home.
The key to a great and aesthetically pleasing grazing table is to fill in all the empty spaces on the table, which I did with handfuls of nacho chips, and cut up/whole fruits and vegetables.

I decorated with anything and everything bright I could find, I even dyed the (fake) flower water bright colours using food dye.

Honestly, it was well worth all the effort and we had such a fun time, even Maximus thought it was the best dinner ever! I cannot wait to (obnoxiously) celebrate again at our next holiday!

Decor:
Flowers, wall decor, gold cutlery all from the dollar store.
Table runner (outdoor) is from Amazon.
