What's In My Beauty Bag
Give me a coffee and I could spend a lot of time browsing in stores like Sephora just wandering around looking at beauty products - and much to my husbands dismay, sometimes I do just that.
However, like I’ve said before, I’m a mama on a budget and sometimes I can’t justify the price tag of some beauty products. So today I want to share what’s in my beauty bag. Specifically, what I save on and use drug store brands and what I splurge on - because yes, some items are worth the splurge in the long run.
Bonus! All the items I’m talking about today are PERFECT stocking stuffers! So if you have some last minute gifts to buy, these items are sure to please!

Here’s my beauty saving tip for you - if you’re anything like me, you don’t wear full makeup all day, everyday, especially to do errands. You want to look presentable and somewhat human, but if you’re running to the grocery store you’re not about to put on a full face. I bought these items all for under $10 each and I use a lot of these items day to day and on the weekend. The exception is the eye liner, because I love it so much I use it all the time!
Urban Decay Basics Pallet
Este Lauder Double Wear Foundation
Make Up Forever Mascara
Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder
Make Up Forever HD Concealer
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer
Nars Blush

These are by far my favourite splurge items. I use these products for work, special occasions and date nights. Honestly, this is my perfect formula for sleepless nights with my toddler (especially the HD concealer under my eyes!).
There are a lot more items in my beauty bag, but the ones I shared today are by far my go-to favs!
Okay, my final splurge is some pampering and skin care. Yes, I said splurge because these are $6 per mask, one time use, and not really a staple item. However, I love that Sephora has this line of masks to treat your skin. If you’re looking for items for a stocking stuffer, look no further! Everyone deserves a little pampering, but not everyone is going to buy it for themselves - so you should do it for them!
