Bed + Bath Refresh with Wayfair

When I was asked to participate in Wayfair’s bed and bath refresh I was excited for this opportunity to create a room refresh mood board inspired by my own personal home and bedroom decor.

Home decor, much like style, is so very personal. When thinking about home decor fist and foremost you have to think about how you want your home to feel for yourself and your family and then secondly for your guests. My belief is that our homes should be a our very own oasis, not a place of overwhelm or stress.

Over the last few years I realized that in order to achieve this kind of feeling here, our home needed to be two things 1. Organized & Uncluttered and 2. Light, bright and relaxing. These days we’re all spending more time at home and I don’t know about you, but after a long week at work I want to come home and unwind to simplicity and relaxing tones and textures like the items from Wayfair I’ve included below in my mood boards.

We recently updated our bathroom, and no surprises here, it’s light and bright. We don’t get any natural light in our current bathroom so keeping everything light helps to create a larger and relaxing space. To celebrate this reno, I even splurged on some new bath towels!
We’re participating in another home renovation right now (stay tuned!) and this mood board reflects our current and future bathroom fixtures.
